A price list, a packing slip and a catalog spread should feel like pages from the same binder. They share margins, a column system and a baseline, and they all leave the same amount of air.

Layout rules.
Weight on one side.
Put the product or the one statement on one side, air on the other. Symmetry is for forms, not for sales pages.
Rules, not boxes.
A hairline separates two groups. A box is only for something that is truly a separate object, like a form field.
Remove the pictures.
Take every image out of a layout. If the page still reads in order, the grid is working.
