Our CAD sheets go to customers and to every fabricator we use. This page sets one SolidWorks drawing template, one title block and one set of fields.

About 25 template revisions exist from 2016 to 2024, with no naming discipline. The 2023 set is the newest. These standards replace all of them with one.

Standard: ANSI, inches. Scales 1:1 to 1:20, 2:1, 4:1
Sheet sizes: Letter landscape for customer sheets; B size (11 × 17 in) for vendor packages
Border: 0.5 pt, square corners, zone ticks
Type: Arial throughout, for file compatibility with vendors
Views: Isometric first for customers; orthographic with dimensions for vendors
Callouts: Numbered balloons matched to the parts list
File name: S-code_Program_Part_Rev.SLDDRW, no spaces
No texture: Never put the schematic texture on a real drawing
